Our Fees

Standard Search Fee: $500
Includes 10 hours of research and a Family Genealogy Notebook (three-ring binder). The standard fee of $500 applies to all searches we conduct. For this fee, we will provide an email report after 10 hours of search time so our client can decide whether or not we should continue searching additional hours of time.

​Additional Copies of Family Genealogy Notebooks: $50 per notebook

Additional Hours of Search Time: $50 per hour
If a client agrees to have us continue searching, then the fee per hour will be $50 per hour. We will decide with the client how many additional hours we will search before reporting back to the client.

Special Fee For Ireland Maps: $200
If we are able to pinpoint where a client’s immigrant ancestor lived before emigrating, then for an additional fee of $200 we will provide historic and modern day maps that will allow one to go directly to the home townland of the ancestors and physically “walk in their footsteps.”

Special Fee for Ireland Trip Planning: $500
We can help clients plan the logistics of a trip to Ireland (e.g. travel, lodging, car rentals, arranging for a genealogy tour guide, information as to why their ancestors immigrated. After traveling to Ireland 11 times in 12 years we have gained lots of firsthand experience planning trip logistics. 

Custom Fees for DNA Analysis, Adoption Research and Irish Citizenship by Descent Application:  These types of searches can be complex and typically take several hours of research above and beyond the ten hours of time we typically spend for a fee of $500.  After consulting with a potential client, we will agree upon a fee based on the amount of research time we estimate will be needed.

Family Genealogy Notebooks Kate and Mike have prepared about their ancestors.

Family Genealogy Notebooks like the ones above are part of the standard $500 fee for a search. These notebooks are well loved and appreciated by our clients. A three ring binder allows clients to insert copies of their family history (e.g. letters, scrapbook articles, photos, bible pages). We do not know of any other genealogical research service that provides a product like this. Additional Family Genealogy Notebooks can be purchased as gifts for other family member at a cost of $50 per notebook.

I contacted Kate and Mike after I was looking at an Irish site that was discussing Irish ancestors. I asked for help in researching my 2nd great grandfather. I have been looking for him for years. After just a few days they contacted me and started sending me information. They found him, his spouse, and four of their children and their descendants. I was absolutely thrilled.

I will be in Ireland for the month of August and am meeting some of my Grey relatives. This has meant so much to me. Kate and Mike are still at work for me and recently sent information on where some of my ancestors are buried. I will be able to visit their grave while I am in Ireland! I never dreamt they would have so much success, and they are still waiting for info on another gravesite.
